Ceramic TilesOne of the best parts about ceramic tiles is that they are extremely durable and you don’t need to wax them to keep them looking like new. However, if you really want to keep your ceramic tiles looking their best, it’s important that you know how to clean them, whether they are in your kitchen or your bathroom.

Before you clean your ceramic tiles, you will need to gather a few cleaning supplies you probably already have sitting around your house, including a broom, a soft mop, a bucket, and some dish soap.

Once you’ve gathered your supplies, take your broom and sweep your tile floors to remove loose dust and to get dirt and other debris from off the top of your flooring. Then, fill up the bucket with water and a dash of dish soap to create a soapy solution. Once you’ve done this, use the soft mop to go over your floors with this solution. Make sure that when the water starts to get cloudy, you change it out with new water and soap. If you don’t do this, the dirty water will make your floors sticky and dull.

After you’ve mopped your tile flooring thoroughly, let it air dry. If you’re in a hurry, you can also dry it using a clean towel.

If you really want to make your floors sparkle and shine, we recommend cleaning small sections of your ceramic flooring by hand and drying it as you go. This is great to do if it’s been a while since your floors have had a thorough cleaning or if you’re having company over.
